Kristin Fisher was hired by CNN on July 20, 2021. She is the station's Space and Defense Correspondent. As the Space and Defence Correspondent for CNN, she's responsible for covering all aspects of space, from NASA and its recently created Space Force up until commercial space firms, as well as the rise and development in space travel. Kristin was raised in the sector of space, as the granddaughter and daughter of NASA astronauts. Over the last five years she's reported on space policy during the Biden and Trump administrations on FOX News. Over the course of that time she covered the presidential 2020 campaign, the impeachment trial and two attempts to prevent the corona virus pandemic, in addition to two distinct administrations' efforts. She also went on trips with President Trump and the Vice President often. It included a secret visit to Afghanistan.
